The Dutch Association for Preverbal Speech Therapy (NVPL) is a professional association that focuses on speech therapists specializing in preverbal communication. These speech therapists treat children with eating and drinking problems and delays in the development of communication, often before there is spoken language. NVPL promotes the expertise of its members by providing education, knowledge sharing and guidelines. In addition, the association is committed to improving the quality of care for young children with preverbal problems and acts as a platform for the exchange of experience and expertise.
