My name is Daphne van der Aa. I graduated from Hogeschool Utrecht in 2019. Since 2019 I have enjoyed working at Silderhuis Speech Therapy. On Monday, Thursday and Friday I work in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work in Nieuw-Lekkerland. During my education I followed the minor ‘Dyslexia’.

I like speech therapy because the target group is very diverse. Every client is unique, which makes the work very fun and interesting! I find it important that clients feel comfortable during treatment. Within the practice we find parent involvement very important. In this way we work together on the development of the child.

In addition to treating clients, I maintain contact with various colleges around our available internships. Within the practice, we feel it is important to introduce our future colleagues to our beautiful profession and offer them a learning period.

I am a member of the Dutch Association for Speech Therapy and Phoniatrics (NVLF). I participate in two quality circles. In addition, I am registered in the Paramedics Quality Register.
