I am Gabrielle de Moor. I am a collaboration partner and work as a ZZP at Silderhuis Speech Therapy at varying times and days.

After my studies in orthopedagogy, I studied speech therapy and graduated as a speech therapist in 1991. Since then I have had a speech therapy practice in IJsselstein, Logopediepraktijk Zomerdijk. As of January 2021, the practice has been taken over by Ilona Silderhuis and I am no longer the practice owner, but will continue to work at the familiar location.

From the beginning, I have always had additional study and further training in the counseling of voice problems, for example, professional speakers and choral singers. I have been singing in groups since childhood and the voice has always had my special interest. No more beautiful and at the same time, more vulnerable instrument than your voice. I am therefore happy to help many people who experience problems with their voice. I do this not only through exercises, but also by relaxing/loosening the muscles around the voice area using kinesiotaping and manual laryngeal facilitation.

In addition to treating in practice, I worked for 7 years within cluster-2 education, first as a speech therapist, then as a remedial pedagogue. I also taught at speech therapy school and taught post-HBO courses on automatic phonetography.

Specialties: the treatment of voice problems and tension-related voice, swallowing and cough complaints, such as globus feeling/prop feeling in the throat.
