About me
My name is Lisanne de Boer. I graduated as a speech therapist from the Hanze University Groningen in 2019 and also completed the master’s degree in Neurolinguistics at the University of Groningen. Since then, I have enjoyed working with both children and adults.
Specializations
My specializations lie in speech and language problems such as TOS and phonological difficulties, and in neurological problems such as aphasia, dysarthria and swallowing disorders. In addition, I have extensive experience in treating voice problems, both in professional voice users (such as teachers and singers) and in medical problems, such as stagnant vocal cords or after a laryngectomy.
My working method
I find speech therapy a wonderful profession because every client is unique. It gives me great satisfaction to look together at what is possible and to work step by step towards more independence and self-confidence in communication. I find it important that clients feel at ease, because you learn the most in a safe environment.
Education and knowledge sharing
In addition to my work in practice, I have also worked as a teacher of speech therapy in college, where I supervised students and participated in educational development. I find it valuable to share knowledge and build together on the future of our beautiful profession.
See you in practice
I hope to see you in practice soon!
