My name is Manon van Peperstraten. Since 2020 I have graduated from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Almere and am working as a speech therapist at Silderhuis Speech Therapy. During my studies, I gained experience working at several independent speech therapy practices, at an aphasia center and in special education for children with (severe) multiple disabilities aged 0-18.

Here I gained experience with Supportive Communication and Dutch with Signs. I also studied neurorehabilitation during a minor. I did my internship at Silderhuis Speech Therapy and therefore already knew the practice very well.

I find working in speech therapy practice very fun and interesting because of the diverse client population and therefore different challenges.

In recent years, I have trained in working with children with reading and/or spelling problems, and I have also taken the course Game in Speech Therapy so that I can develop children through a playful entrance to achieve speech therapy goals.

Since 2022, I have been a certified Rooster therapist and offer the parenting course Talking in pairs.

I am a member of the professional association NVLF and I am on the quality register of paramedics.

I work in Mijdrecht and various school locations. Hope to see you at one of these locations!
